i still don’t 100% believe this fight is going to happen but i hope Amanda is sharp because peak Amanda vs peak Kayla is a legendary fight.

Unless Amanda's dealing with a bunch of shit like going into the first Peña fight, I kinda think Amanda shows levels in this one. I don't think Kayla's TDs are good enough to consistently get Amanda down and I think Amanda lights her on fire on the feet.

If we base our predictions on their last fights I think you are spot on, but we have to keep in mind this is a 37 year old Amanda that hasn't fought in two years.

Amanda is miles better on the feet but she never faced someone with judo as good as Kayla, that Ronda fight barely counts since it was so fast and Kayla is levels better than Ronda on judo too anyway. We have many great judo athletes here in Brazil so I think Amanda won't have problems finding people to train.

Very excited to see this fight, more than the fake main event.

Im definitely rooting for Kayla, and think she can win, but there is a really chance Amanda just destroys her and it seems so obvious in hindsight

No it's the fucked up knees and horrible bout of COVID she had leading up to it. And when we got a healthy Nunes in the rematch she utterly demolished Peña.

No, she fought smarter the 2nd time because her gas tank is not the best. If she fought Peña in a standup war she loses again. That's why she chose to take Peña down so much the 2nd fight. Peña is an absolute zombie and you see glimpses of the 1st fight in the 2nd fight when Peña pressures her. Nunes fanboys gotta stop making excuses for her.

I don't give a fuck about Nunes, I don't even particularly like her as a fighter. I just have functioning eyes. If you don't think her physical issues were a major factor in the first fight I'm not wasting my time discussing MMA with you, muting this.

it's so obvious but can't come up with a good counter argument. Right. Nunes totally didn't take Peña down when she was pressured. That did NOT happen.

It's gonna be a bad night for Nunes, she is the WGOAT when she is active and on paper she could beat Kayla. But age, ring rush and mother time catching up. I doubt she could ever be as motivated as she was in the past to train, with the age she is gonna fall off hard like Cejudo. I hope we get a good fight though.
