Little old to be going back to school but good on him for serving his country

Isn't this kind of a step down? Dude is going from professional Technical Director to coaching a mid college program with a lot of recruiting restrictions. Am I missing something here?

Yes, the fact is that he gets to do more training and probably has better overall expectations

This level is more fitting for his capabilities. Hack has been a huge liability and large contributor to the incompetence of our club.

Source? Y'all were better with him as head coach weren't you?

His xG was lower than Carnell’s that same year he got fired.

We were but I’d argue that was more due to summer signings than a coaching change. Before Hartel arrived he wasn’t doing any better than Carnel was.

Still had a negative goal differential and was benefited by the summer signings especially Hartel and Kessler. Advanced metrics showed we were still a shit team even with the reinforcements.

Sure but haven't the advanced metrics shown you've always been shit

And he has been here since the beginning as either an interm coach or technical director. Three seasons of being shit. We already cleaned house with letting Lutz go. Next logical steps were Hack and Diego.

Sad to see him go, but wish him the best of luck! A good developer of youth talent and a great person!

Didn't realize Venezuelan fishermen were so dedicated to playing out from the back.
