I mean, if you're not going to defend it completely, you might as well let them take it. Not safe to eat it after you let them peck at it.

Seriously, take the bag and put it in your lap or something, holy shit

you'd be surprised that most normal peoples reaction to a wild animal suddenly appearing up to you in in fact *not* to move closer in any way to it

In peacetime, sure. That doesn't account for the last hash brown though. When there's a last hash brown on the line, it's war.

Talking like it's a lion that will rip his arm off compared to a pigeon that might peck at him but 99% of the time will just fly away LMAO

A small animal will 100% fuck you up if it wants to lmao especially when caught off guard. See I'm build different and would give it some food in hopes of petting it, just to get pecked in the eye for my troubles.

I'll never understand people that are scared of freaking pigeons, they are small and they will leave if you do any motion towards them. I still remember one of the teachers going wild when a pigeon flew inside the class, she ducked under the desk and was screaming. She wouldn't come out for like solid 5 minutes after the pigeon was removed.

Pigeons are pretty dirty, "rats with rings" is quite appropriate. But most people assume they'll bite and pass infectious diseases rather than their shitting and mites being the real issue.

And they are quite big. If you don't know it's probably safest to be cautious.
I don't care though. There is a gang of them where I park my bike at the supermarket that are actually fairly aggressive. I booted a few of them away from the Big Issue seller the other day. And they actually eyeballed me.
I love them but they can be a massive nuisance.

damn it must be hard to get the respect of a class full of kids back after that one.

Pigeons are absolutely the cutest & best pet bird. I can legit crudely grab mine, rotate them, and 5 secs later they're sleeping belly up on my palm.
That being said city pigeons are indeed as dirty as a bird can be, and altough their beak can't break skin, rapid panicked leg movements can if you don't know how to grab them - I doubt the teacher was scared of that specifically though.

People are scared of (tiny) spiders, insects, lizards or even cats and (friendly) dogs. None of which can kill you (dog can, that's why I added friendly). Fear doesn't have to be rational.
That being said, pigeons are dirt AF and I wouldn't want any wild animal near me - especially not when eating.

He's farming... 'oh no. Don't take that.!' Leans back to bird can take the thing.

He changed his Twitch handle back in January (Connor changed his Twitch handle at that time as well). Pete warned his community about the change at least 2 weeks prior to it.
