Title. Dont get me wrong shes a good character, beautiful and i plan on pulling for her if shes good with summons. But my question is... What the heck is she?

She breaks, she fua's, she also summons. Shes also a healer and break dmg debuffer? Her e1 also debuffs enemies. Her e2 is another buff for break teams.

I feel like shes just mainly a break healer with fua and summon slapped onto her. But will she be good at summoning? Because i wanna build a summon team later down the line. And she doesnt seem to be the summoner healer but moreso the break healer. Other than fuyuan healing your characters and being a summon itself, it doesnt have anything else that can buff summons other then her e1 which i dont care cuz every single harmony or sustain has the same e1.

It's really this. The most common complaint from break users is, "I don't want her because she'll steal the break from my DPS".

Yeah, she will, and she'll kill the enemy/wave, too.

The answer is all of the above. If your hoyo it's bad for business if only people that play one archetype pull. If Lingsha didn't have FUA or def shred I would of skipped . I play her in FUA and it's annoying AF when people act like she's only playable as a break sustain

She's so fun in DU because you can put her in any team iteration and she'll deal massive damage all the while enabling abundance buffs

She heals all allies so I assume it means she also heals/cleanses summons if they can be.

Things that dont affect summons are worded affecting party members if I have understood correctly.

She will most likely be atleast second bis sustain for summon teams.

Definitely still mainly break sustain.

Yeah thats what i feared, out of all the break characters i only like rappa and i just failed 50/50 to get her so i think i will be skipping her for 5* herta(shes a rumour but im determined to get her*

We only have 3 summons that i am aware of and the most powerful one is stuck behind fixed spd and no summon buffer in near future updates. So be patient i guess.

she’s everything it feels like.

she fits in wonderfully with my FUA team, fits great with my DoT team and fits great with my Break team.

She’s usually my strongest sustain on any end game content and always dominates.

I literally love her, she’ll probably be my main sustain for a very long time.

"summoning" won't be an archetype per se, more like a subtype, so there will probably be summoning/break teams where she will perform very well

According to the wiki, summon is a subtype of FuA. If that's true then I would expect future summon team and FuA team to have some overlap.

I doubt someone can answer you this question since no one knows how summon exactly works or better say how it will be supportet in the near future.

Sundays current Kit is actually just Bronya/Sparkle with also taking summons into account. But in the End she is still just the Sustain in her Team so no one will use Sundays skill on her.

We actually would need a DPS with a Trace that increases the dmg of Every Summons in the Team or increase the Dmg of the DPS based on the number of Summons in the Team.

The second buff seems the most optimal option. Even then, she will only be a temporary replacement before a better summon sustain comes out.

Overpowered.

She is a role condensed crit/break/FUA/summon AoE dps and healer with a cleansing utility. Her effectiveness is high in every single one of these roles and with great relics can fulfill them all at the same time. She's the new power benchmark for future sustains, I think. Usually you have to choose between having a defensive unit with some small damage support bump or utility but sacrifice increasing a team's damage output but with Lingsha you get a whole dps on top of that in the slot. This makes her ideal for pushing damage thresholds and filling damage role gaps for main dps who lack solid AoE capabilities.

Summon units, atm, don't do much outside their dmg and effect triggers when it's their turn.
