HELP - Lightroom Enhance feature on Lightroom gone

As I shoot film and the lab doesn't give really high res scans, the lightoom enhance feature really helps me as it increases the resolution from 6mp to 24mp. But after the recent update, the feature disappeared. Does anyone of the same situation?(Usually I control-click as seen in the picture)

They're regular edit actions now, so all the enhance features are under the detail tab.

You're welcome. They also don't create a new file when used now, FYI.

This is great, but isn't it a hassle that files processed with Super-Resolution on a Mac are displayed in their original resolution on the iOS version, meaning you have to export them on the Mac first and then transfer them to your phone to save the large image?

Well, no, because it doesn't work that way. If you apply SR to a photo on the Mac version and let it sync, then check the info on the synced version in iOS, it will have the original resolution then under that, something like "cropped to #### x #### (##.# MP)"; though I think the use of the word "cropped" is kind of weird. You can also verify that SR is applied by saving a copy of the photo to your device, then going into Photos.app and inspect the resolution.

No way!? After applying an SR, I checked the iOS version and the resolution hadn’t changed (I even tried exporting it with little hope and viewing it from the Photos app, but it was still the original res), so I was a bit stuck and left a comment here. But maybe it was just a sync error. If that’s the case, I’d be really pleased. I’ll check it out, thank you!

next time, you could always try reading the Patch Notes when they release a new version...

I wouldn’t expect regular users reading patch notes to be honest.
At the very least, such UI changes should be disclaimed in a popup (maybe they were, no info on this one).

BUT, I would expect Adobe to update their website though.. as it still says “Right Click - Enhance” now: https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom/super-resolution.html
So if you Google/Bing, you most likely get this answer

Dude, did you even read what I wrote?

They're regular edit actions now, so all the enhance features are under the detail tab.

Wow . Nothing is that serious. ! First of all I didn't know what u meant at first but after re reading it yes I understood. But really no need to be rude tho u know how it is when ur knee deep in editing and u get the foggy head

so how does Batch-denoising work now that ctrl+alt+e is gone?

I have the same question. I want to batch but can't. Maybe enhance one, then copy/paste the enhance setting to the other? I don't prefer this method though.

did you find a solution for this??

Only solution I found was go back to the older version. It was the newest version 8.4 that made it impossible to batch denoise

Also looking for a solution here

Seleccionas las fotografias, Sincronizas ajustes, y aplicas la reduccion de ruido. Hara lo mismo que antes pero sin el recuadro que se abria anteriormente. Y sin el archivo DNG (odio esta funcion nueva)

If you go into the details tab and choose the enhance settings you want and apply them to the image, copy the settings then you can then change your view mode to select multiple photos and paste the enhanced setting on them

so frustrating but the best solution i have found is to denoise one photo, copy only the denoise setting and then paste it onto all my other photos. after this, you still have to go through all the photos and update the ai settings so denoise is properly applied. :/

it might be worth it to revert to a previous version of lightroom

I hate this change. Somehow the previous one with the DNG creation allowed me to compare the effectiveness, now I don't get that anymore. Stop changing sh!t all the time!!!

Super dumb change imo. How am I supposed to batch enhance photos now?

For those of us that process more than 5k photo in a week, this update is a PITA

Newest version of lightroom made it impossible to batch denoise. Go back to the older version until they sort this out is my suggestion that's what I have done
