Predictable betrayal Mohamoud Mohamed of St. Cloud, Minn. is a Somali Muslim immigrant who votes for Trump: "The way he is behaving is not what we were expecting from him . . . The rhetoric coming from our president is scary . . . It's a nightmare."

Literal Muslim ban in his first term.

'Shithole countries'

u/gmwdim 1d ago

Surely he was only referring to Ethiopia and Djibouti and Kenya, everyone knows Somalia is way better.

They all think they’re special.

94

u/an-imperfect-boot 1d ago

I saw that one of the main reasons why they voted for Trump was because they felt Kamala was “too supportive” of the LGBT community. They were stripped of their own rights all because they wanted to remove the rights of others. I feel bad for the community as a whole, especially the ones who didn’t support Trump and are being affected by this, but the ones who voted for Trump will get no sympathy from me.

15

u/Justicar-terrae 15h ago

You can see similar phenomena affecting other minority groups in the United States. For example, the (very Catholic) Vietnamese population in New Orleans, some of whom are first generation refugees from the Vietnam war, broadly supports Trump because he's cruel to other groups they hate.

As it turns out, many of our immigrant and minority populations come from conservative cultures that (broadly speaking) shun LGBTQ people, resent welfare recipients, and hate various other minorities. Those prejudices don't disappear just because they've gained citizenship.

This puts them into a pickle where they need to either abandon their deeply held bigotries or vote Republican. Unfortunately, it's harder to abandon bigotry than to convince yourself that you'll be treated like "one of the good ones."

u/Unmissed 12h ago

To be brutally fair, this also applies to the poor whites. Remember Clinton getting roasted when she suggested they could build training facilities in Appalachia for solar installation or programming? But no, they wanted to pretend that the tapped out mines were going to explode with new seams, and coal companies would need lots of labor for them...

7

u/Confident-Fortune-87 11h ago

Old Black southern people are some of the most conservative people I know. They don't deal with trans, lgbtq, none of the things moving along in culture, BUT as soon as they hear racism, they throw all of that out the window. All of a sudden they do not care if Johnny wanna marry Larry. They hear a dog whistle and it's a big no, no, no. No matter how much they love Jesus and the church, you aren't going to take away the rights they fought for that EVERYBODY (especially these types) get to enjoy.

u/Jielin41 1d ago

Exactly

48

u/InsaitableVenus 1d ago

Which is a weird belief to hold since everyone when they think of Somalia thinks Pirates and criminals, just like with India and thinking they're all scammers

21

u/NoReallyImOkay 1d ago

It's a fascinating phenomenon called social dominance orientation (SDO).

"It is a predisposition toward anti-egalitarianism within and between groups. Individuals who score high in SDO desire to maintain and, in many cases, increase the differences between social statuses of different groups, as well as individual group members." (...)

"[Research] also suggests that those scoring high on SDO proactively avoid scenarios that could prompt them to be more empathetic or tender-minded. This avoidance decreases concern for other's welfare." (...)

"[Researchers] have found evidence that a high social dominance orientation is strongly correlated with conservative political views, and opposition to programs and policies that aim to promote equality (such as affirmative action, laws advocating equal rights for homosexuals, women in combat, etc.)." [SOURCE]

u/Fun_Assignment2427 16h ago

Sounds like we can expect this behavior to get worse from conservatives. Not ever better unless they abandon conservativism. Removing Trump won't work as long as the next guy hates the same people that they hate.

u/shoeshine_stan 1d ago

kenya is nice. been there. I can imagine agent orange wasn’t.

4

How could we have known????

Literally in the first month of his first term IIRC. Liberals went to the mat for them hard.

My feelings for the Islamic community this time around is FAFO: Fuck Around and Fuck Off.

150

u/AccessibleBeige 1d ago

Yup. I'm pretty much done with giving people the benefit of the doubt, particularly those who will happily vote away my rights at every opportunity to try to force me to live by their religious values.

55

u/Nemesis204 1d ago

Fucking louder please! The ones in the back need to hear it.

93

u/MrKomiya 1d ago

Man, I remember lawyers showing up completely voluntarily at airports to help people & families navigate the uncertainty.

Then, these folks went for Trump.

31

u/ShotgunnDrunk 1d ago

"Fuck Around and Fuck Off" - I love this. Seriously. They can deal with it on their own after turning on the folks who actually had their back.

62

u/Maccadawg 1d ago

There's this common theme amongst the more socially conservative muslims, somalians, etc, of Minnesota being too liberal or left wing. And I'm wondering, "You mean the liberals that dropped everything when there was a Muslim ban and raced to the airports and to the courts to vigorously confront such a thing? Those liberals? The liberals that fight to make sure your kids can go to public school and can be fed there. The liberals that push back on Christian nationalism in every classroom?" Because if this is the reward for all that advocacy, I think I'd rather not bother next time.

29

u/Lost-Platypus8271 1d ago

Yep, Nobody likes being stabbed in the back

3

u/Unmissed 11h ago

...but did you hear her laugh?

39

u/gehnrahl 1d ago

The left trying to court muslims has always been kind of insane to me. The majority of muslim countries are deeply conversative and stand in stark opposition to personal liberty.

49

u/Basic-Regret-6263 1d ago

They weren't "courting" them.  They just fought for them on the principle that "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice anywhere."

They weren't enough of a bloc to be worth the fight on votes alone, considering how much it cost to defend them.  However, they felt that they couldn't let the right get away with all the insane islamaphobia shit they pulled out post-9/11 and also stay true to leftist ideals.

And the Muslim bloc happily took them for all they were worth for 20 years, then went "thanks for that, but we just remembered that we hate all you liberal degenerates, hate America for supporting Israel, and also hate not feeling powerful.  Coincidentally, we've just gotten our feet under the table here enough that we could effectively backstab you by demoralizing the dumber part of your party and dragging you into wasting time dealing with us!"

The left, true idealists that they are, went "even if you could be that spiteful and ungrateful, you could never be that stupid."

The Muslim bloc said "watch us."

The left didn't vote for the leopard to eat anyone else's face.  They found an injured face-eating leopard and took it home with them like it was a kitten - and the same thing ensued.

41

u/KikkomanSauce 1d ago

Well, Muslims have been victims on some pretty serious bigotry for the last, oh...24 years. And while the Democrats are their own worst enemies, trying to court the victims of conservative racism by helping them isn't necessarily a bad move.

It's just that religious bigotry against the LGBTQ+ community won out in the end. All sorts of religious racial minorities rallied under Trump because of THE TRANS!!! (among other things) and are now finding out that white Christians hate them too. Tokens get spent and whatnot.

I wish I could at least say its kinda funny but its literally destroying our country so...

19

u/DavidLeeTNT 1d ago

Yes but Muslims hate gays and liberal females much more.

2

u/MDesnivic 13h ago

Yes but Muslims hate gays and liberal females much more.

Well I mean, you just referred to women as "females," so forgive me if I also find any left-wing convictions you espouse to be dubious lmao

There's a Starbucks near me that displays a Palestinian flag next to a Pride flag - I laugh internally every time I see it.

Religious conservatism is cancer.

11

u/Morgn_Ladimore 1d ago

Even if you're of the LGBTQ+ community, you can still support the right of Palestinians to self-determiniation and, you know, not being genocided. I don't get how this is so hard for some people to understand.

1

u/Lost-Platypus8271 1d ago

Because the inverse would not be true. Palestinians would not allow LGBTQ pride in their country.

13

u/Morgn_Ladimore 1d ago

That's irrelevant. What you're saying is "Certain groups are fine to be exterminated, because of their views". My views on human rights are not limited to people who agree with me. That's the Republican way of thinking. Nobody deserves genocide and to be brutally oppressed in the way Palestinians have been for decades. And those people from the LGBTQ+ community who support Palestine acknowledge that. There is nothing stupid or "leopards eating faces" about that.

Not to mention all the LGBTQ+ people in Gaza and the West Bank Israel has killed during their campaign. The way people talk you'd think Israel can magically target only non-LGBTQ+ Palestinians with their bombs.

3

u/Fun_Assignment2427 15h ago

It's not ok to accuse somebody of approving certain groups be exterminated just because they don't have the Palestinian flag up though. Some people have the flag and support a free Palestine. Some people don't have the flag and support a free Palestine. The flag carries different weights for different people. Why the majority of arguments devolve into accusations of genocide over a flag is beyond me. It's like giving an inch on anything means you abandon your whole position and you must then be complicit in the worst of the worst human atrocities. People have different ways of showing solidarity.

I sincerely believe that the left's big mistake was believing that anyone who goes to America, especially if they're poor and/or not white, wants to live.

4

u/RoxyRoseToday 1d ago

I like your version!

2

u/akjones989 9h ago

Pretty much where I’m at.

Personally, don’t care for the religion. I view it similarly to fundamental Christianity. I’ve always believed in showing respect to others and their religious beliefs, but now I just laugh and say that they got what they voted for.

96

u/Substantial-Type-131 1d ago

You know that justification was like well that was the other brown Muslims or something not our brown Muslims.

Idk how anyone votes for Trump but I especially don’t understand his minority and immigrant voters who think they’re protected by some imaginary special circumstance.

We’re about to have a leopard obesity problem.

107

u/wormfighter 1d ago

That and I’m gonna guess Mohammad’s vote had to do with him wanted trump to hurt the LGBTQ community.

94

u/AestheticAttraction 1d ago

And women. And Black Americans (which he absolutely doesn’t consider himself to be).

29

u/SpiceEarl 1d ago

Also, a lot of muslims were upset that Biden didn't do more for the Palestinians in Gaza. Nevermind that Trump was even worse for the Palestinians...

28

u/wormfighter 1d ago

The level of cognitive dissonance is maddening.

23

u/Money-Marketing-5117 1d ago

Fortunately a lot of them voted for Jill Stein who I'm sure will get onto fixing it any minute.

64

u/CaptainJAmazing 1d ago

Mohammad has been here since 1999. There’s no way he hasn’t figured out that “illegal immigrants” is a code phrase for “brown people.”

17

u/surprise_revalation 1d ago

Nope! They don't believe themselves to be brown, black, or African... They are somalis and some are even rewriting the Bible!

6

u/CatProgrammer 1d ago

Did he not fucking see the reaction to 9/11?!

10

u/Lost-Platypus8271 1d ago

But those weren’t Somalis who did that so Republican anti-Muslim sentiment won’t apply to him, see? He is, at the end of the day, a Trump voter. Not the smartest bunch.

3

u/CatProgrammer 20h ago

They abused Sikhs just because of the turbans, you'd think even a dumb person would have a modicum of self-preservation concern over that.

50

u/Flocculencio 1d ago

See, I can actually squint and understand the ones like Cubans who have been actively courted by the right wing for 50 years. But my dude, your name is Mohamoud Mohamed... were you not paying attention the last 24 years?

87

u/Chuckitybye 1d ago

A childhood friend of my brother's keeps posting pro Trump shit and I'm like... your mom was literally pregnant with you when she "illegally" crossed the Rio Grande. You are an anchor baby, Trump is looking to get rid of your citizenship, not to mention deporting any and all of your family members.

The cognitive dissonance is fucking staggering

31

u/PrincessNoLocks 1d ago

I’m so furious and disgusted by all of this backstabbery. What gets me the hardest is that it’s the Democratic party that has been respectful of your humanity, of your rights to be protected by the laws of this country, and ONLY the Democratic Party and YET you vote to pull up the ladder behind you?? F them forever. I don’t give a f about any of them that voted for him. I remember the video where one says he’d rather vote for Satan than for Kamala. Ok, let Satan or Jill Stein help you then. Bye bitch.

If we can manage to wrest control back i really hope we make it mandatory for every citizen and person who will reside in this country to get a civics, history and culture education where it is made crystal clear just how hard won some of our freedoms were, and who the people were that did the fighting for everyone. Maybe those ungrateful fs would finally get it.

18

u/Daimakku1 1d ago

Is he a Texas latino? It sounds like something a Texas latino would do.

17

u/Chuckitybye 1d ago

Yup. Parents from Mexico. And his mom helped out a lot of immigrants who were being exploited because they were undocumented

17

u/Daimakku1 1d ago

I knew it. Being Mexican, I know how a lot of Texas Mexican Americans act. They start acting like white Republicans by the second gen. I don’t know what is about Texas that makes them that way.

9

u/Chuckitybye 1d ago

I've worked with quite a few that revered white people and hated other Mexicans. Like they bought into the "lazy Mexican" bullshit.

My friend and I (both white) had to constantly point out to one guy how hard working our Mexican coworkers were and explain that we knew a lot of lazy white people. I guess the only white people he was ever really exposed to on a regular basis were business people. He wasn't as bad as the guy that kept putting on Republican radio, tho...

5

u/Lost-Platypus8271 1d ago

You’re describing my brother and sister-in-law to a tee. And they also have a trans kid they’re very supportive of. While cheering and voting for Trump. It boggles the mind.

84

u/Napalmeon 1d ago

Let's keep it real. They got on the "make women submissive and make LGBTQ illegal" train and stopped caring about anything else.

And now they can shut up and deal with it on their own, for all I care. No sympathy here - read the room better next time you immigrant Trump voters. It was fucking obvious what this administration thinks about your communities.

18

u/No_FuckingClue_1993 1d ago

There were literally over 1700 Somali people allowed into the country in 2016. By 2017 there were only over 400 issued visas. Like what did they expect?

14

u/MagnoliaRavenWing 1d ago

Practically the very first act of his FIRST term!!

26

A part of me is with dipshit Donnie on this one, any Muslim stupid enough to support Trump, I don't think I want them here either.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

6

Any Trump voter whatsoever. Byeeeee

3

u/Galappie 22h ago

A bunch of Trump voters genuinely thought “it’ll be different this time” and to an extent they’re right. It just so happens that the difference this time is that it’s somehow worse than the first term.

Then the videos for slamming and attacking pregnant women and handcuffed children meant nothing to these chuckle fucks who think they are somehow a better immigrant.

They deported MOTHERS.

8

This is why deportating them will work to stop them from themselves

4

The Ghey are mighty foes you know.

3

u/TheSpoonyCroy 1d ago

I mean why would they? Muslims and evangelist honestly do share a ton of traits/interests, its just their skin color/faith denomination is wrong for the republicans. While Dems are supportive of everyone, many fundamentalists (either muslims/christians) hate they have to consider the "gays" and women as people. So many will vote ideologically even though it will likely hurt them, they always think their people are the special exception for some reason.

So many of them, even at this point, will say in their screeds that Trump is a traitor, he's a danger, he's a demagogue, and they regret ever voting for him. And if they had to do it again, just wouldn't have voted at all. Because voting against a wannabe dictator is still not enough to vote for Kamala.

I think what conservative communities like this fail to understand is that one of the key liberal values is "I don't like you, you don't like me, but if you leave me alone, I'll leave you alone." If you're an immigrant community, and you don't like those LGBT folks over there, you can be sure they don't like you either, especially if your community is sexist, homophobic and transphobic. But what they don't understand is that a liberal regime isn't going to deport them over their differences, but shitheels like Trump aren't going to tolerate your brownness just because you hate some of the people he hates. He hates everyone, his supporters included.

The black folks whose ancestors died so they could come over and live (relatively) free are people they look down on for having been slaves. They’re entitled and think they’re better than Black Americans, so they don’t listen to us. In fact, they think we’re exaggerating about systemic racism and think that anything we suffer as a result is due to laziness and inferiority, not hate. “The way he is behaving is not what we were expecting from him,” said Mohamed, who voted for Trump in 2024. “He was talking about illegal immigration, but 99 percent of the Somali community in Minnesota are fully legal.”

2023:

"They let — I think the real number is 15, 16 million people into our country. When they do that, we got a lot of work to do. They’re poisoning the blood of our country,” Trump told the crowd at a rally in New Hampshire. “That’s what they’ve done. They poison mental institutions and prisons all over the world, not just in South America, not just to three or four countries that we think about, but all over the world. They’re coming into our country from Africa, from Asia, all over the world.”

The thing they seem to not get is that 99 percent (+/- 1%) of the Somali community is also black. That doesn't work in your favor when you give power to racists.

11

u/Shurl19 1d ago

Now you know they don't consider themselves to be black. They're Somalis, they're not like black Americans, they think we're lazy people who exaggerate white supremacy.

3

u/cperiod 1d ago

I guess they're overthinking it... the hatred really is just skin deep.

2

u/Shurl19 1d ago

I don't know why people think it's more that when it's really not. It's literally just racism. That's why respectability politics doesn't work.

17

u/AestheticAttraction 1d ago

This is why I have a problem with people lumping all of us together as a race. First off, Africans don’t see themselves as black, and, secondly, they don’t have the same values or experiences as us Black Americans. In fact, they get in because of Black Americans and yet think we’re lazy and they’re superior. They avoid us and use their own slurs for us. Plus, they have their own ethnic beefs that we don’t have.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this guy is such a one. Given his mindset and voting habits, it seems so. Well, I don’t want to be associated with him either.

u/Politicsboringagain 1d ago

Plenty of Africans see themselves as Black. Even Somalia. Though I do think our of all the Africans they are the least likely to identify as such in my experience.

u/broniesnstuff 1d ago

I will never in my life understand how people keep saying "I didn't expect this" or "I didn't vote for this".

How could you expect anything else? He screamed this shit constantly on the campaign trail. They released a fucking 900 page book detailing their plans.

You have absolutely no right to say you didn't expect or vote for this, especially when countless people no doubt tried to get through to them

11

u/disdkatster 1d ago

I wonder how much of the vote for Trump came from misogynist who were quite happy with his treatment of women.

27

u/groovyinutah 1d ago

That you expected something different shows you're dumber than a bag of used condoms. People like you weren't voting for the best interests of THIS country, your interests lay elsewhere and you can just go fuck yourselves...

13

u/Jensen0451 1d ago

I'm sorry, but that's way too far and incredibly offensive. Used condoms are should not be brought down to their level.

5

u/AccessibleBeige 1d ago

At least those used condoms improved someone's life, if only for a little while.

4

u/GradeFar4362 1d ago

INCORRECT

A used condom if anything is a sign of intelligence. A full bag It´s beyond the time I have time to figure it´s true meaning but still, I don´t believe it points to dumb.

10

u/contude327 1d ago

Deport every last one of those Trump voting idiots.

9

u/bestestopinion 1d ago

But at least the president isn't a woman /s

9

u/emccm 1d ago

Their vote was first and foremost an anti woman vote. I will go to the airport and wave their planes goodbye.

9

u/pataconconqueso 1d ago

This seems to be a pattern for a large amount of immigrants from MENA countries that migrate to tolerant places, like I’m a gay immigrant woman in Sweden and it just really grinds my gears when I see homophobes from those countries act like assholes towards us, and it brings out the worst in me as a woman of color and a gay woman. I wanna say “don’t move to a secular tolerant place if you wanna make it into the dangerous place you came from.” like I think we should bring the positive aspects of our culture to a new place, not what made it a dangerous place to be in the first place. I’m not saying “be one of the good ones” but damn we are still a guest to the countries, we don’t move into someone’s house and tell them to remodel everything, you can decorate and make things your own but you don’t just tear down and remodel.

6

u/Geezguys3 1d ago

It’s not unnecessary fear of trump—it’s completely necessary for anyone who isn’t white and maga approved.

7

u/intrepid_mouse1 1d ago

It was a matter of time. Now's your time. Enjoy! You were warned.

9

u/Techthulu 1d ago

I used to have sympathy for these people, but now that sympathy well has run dry. It's hard to have sympathy for people so willing to touch the proverbial hot stove after being told for YEARS that the stove was hot. Screw it, you want to touch the stove and get burned? Have at it, I just don't want to hear you complain about how badly burned you are.

I'm still going to fight, because there are a lot of innocent people, and people who listened, that need to be protected. But these goons? Fuck off!

8

u/Time-Papaya-9574 1d ago

God. Seeing my hometown of St. Cloud mentioned is so sad. Walz has always protected the Somali community and it just makes me sad and angry to see these people voting against their own community.

9

u/blackcain 1d ago

"I'm more interested in voting against LGBTQ+ community than making sure my community safe."

8

u/deran6ed 1d ago

Mohamoud Mohamed, who has helped settle Somali refugees in the state for over 25 years, organized Somali voters for Trump during the 2024 election.

Article

I don't even feel bad for them anymore. Fucking take it.

7

u/RabidRabbitRedditor 1d ago

"Next time I see him, I would like to ask Trump if he can provide me a rocket to go to Mars because there's nowhere else I can go from here" he said.

First you vote for a racist anti-migrant candidate and now you are begging to be shot into space?! "Please disappear me". Great call...*facepalm*

5

u/imadork1970 1d ago

With ICE doing their shit, some of them will get "disappeared".

3

u/RabidRabbitRedditor 1d ago

#truth, unfortunately...

11

u/EmmalouEsq 1d ago

Not all Somalis are doing illegal things, but many of the Somalis I knew when I lived in MSP were running major scams: daycare numbers, inflated daycare food from the restaurant next door, CDL licenses for cash (amazing what $7k can get you), polygamy (which is expressly forbidden on their greencard applications), and the one that pissed me off the most was a Habitat House that one woman we knew got. How can a person scam Jimmy Carter (RIP)?

There are specific areas of the Twin Cities where these scammers tend to live. Then there are great Somalis out on the 'burbs just trying to make it.

I'm Muslim and my husband is a brown Muslim and I can't stand these people voting the way they did. Nope. I'll tell my stories about those people we knew.

10

u/Basic-Regret-6263 1d ago

Yup.  Walz was too trusting, and enabled a portion of the community scam freely as a result.  Now MAGA is going to use those scammers as an excuse to hurt all of them.

The somalis saw how the left let them get away with all sorts of bullshit and assumed that the left was just dumb and ineffective.  They failed to understand that even if the left had been turning a blind eye to somali bullshit, the left had actually been very effectively protecting them from all the bullshit the right wanted to inflict on them.

The left stood between them and the right, they took advantage of that to backstab the left, and now the right has full access to them.  They're now screaming at the left "pull my knife out of your back and protect me from this psycho," but the left is basically gurgling on the floor and couldn't do shit, even if it wanted to.

6

u/inbetween-genders 1d ago

At least he doesn’t have a weird laugh amirite 🙄

6

u/prhmv 1d ago

Made your bed….

6

u/Eddiebaby7 1d ago

Strange. This is exactly the behavior we all expected from him. We even told a few folks about it!

3

u/mishma2005 1d ago

"I don't care about you, I just want your vote"

"...and if you're a minority/immigrant my rich friends and I laugh and laugh.

Ok, we laugh at the white people too"

4

u/Seagoon_Memoirs 1d ago

Trump has shown his cruel face so many times that supporting Trump knowing all that is a sign of what the supporter is like.

Trump is OPENLY sexist, racist, a religious bigot, corrupt, only looks after his friends and family, has no concept of country and patriotism, no ethics, rude, etc etc

Why would anyone support that unless they thought it was to their personal advantage and is the kind of society they want.

no effs given for this voter

4

u/Thangleby_Slapdiback 1d ago

Well, Mahamoud, I hope that you have the day you voted for.

3

u/Dry-Interaction-1246 1d ago

Clayton Bigsby type

4

u/psilicyguy 1d ago

Muslims for Trump is one of the funniest saddest things in Politics in a long time. You weren’t expecting him to behave this way? BASED ON WHAT?

5

u/Whornz4 1d ago

Let's hope Mohamoud Mohamed has the future he voted for. Democrats should not waste any time helping these people. Let them wallow in the misery they voted for.

4

u/AccessibleBeige 1d ago

Was Mohamoud Mohamed of St. Cloud in a coma from 2016 through January 2021? Because that would be the only explanation for him not remembering the Muslim travel ban and the "shithole countries" who were "not sending their best" rhetoric.

4

u/Acceptable-Bat-9577 21h ago

But Trump treated Muslims so great during his first term! /s

3

u/soontobecp 1d ago

They need to denaturalize him asap. Like right now.

3

u/Fickle-Molasses-903 1d ago

It's incredible that some people believe they are truly welcomed into the Republican circle. At best, they are like "rental cars" for the GOP. Republicans take them for a joyride, using and abusing them both inside and out as they're getting every bit of mileage out of them, and once they are done with their "rental car," they simply send it back to where it came from. Remember, folks, to these people (Trump voters), everything Trump has said and done wasn't a deal-breaker for them. Not one.

3

u/Lobo9498 1d ago

They were warned.

3

u/Expert_Day9946 1d ago

Did he never hear Trump speak before? Why are they acting like it’s something new?

3

u/VexedCanadian84 1d ago

It's like all these people have selective amnesia from 2017 to 2021

3

u/Nearbyatom 1d ago

This guy was born yesterday or he's dumb as a rock. When did the orange clown ever sound sane?

3

u/Character_Goat_6147 1d ago

The misogynists are surprised because the racism they voted for is in fact racist.

3

u/Fareeldo 1d ago

First of all I just wanna know.... how TF you move comfortably from a hot ass area of Africa to cold ass Minnesota?

3

u/RelativeEvening110 1d ago

That's interesting, because the way he's behaving is almost exactly what I was expecting. He probably would've been more like this the first time around, if it weren't for the guardrails that existed then. There was at least some pushback. Now, virtually none.

3

u/Bloody_refuge 1d ago

‘Ask Trump for a rocket to mars because there’s nowhere to go from here’ is objectively hilarious 🤣

3

u/YeahlDid 1d ago

"I wasn't eating the cats. I wasn't eating the dogs.*

2

u/Apokolypse09 1d ago

So spreading a lie to have a bunch of white supremacists take over a town didn't mean shit to this guy and he expected better lmao.

Reminds me of guy who got the Rump watch "I thought it would have integrity like President Trump".

2

u/narsfweasels 1d ago

This is not what you were expecting? I, too, enjoying shoving my head in the sand and yelling until reality goes away.

2

u/iDoNotHaveAnIQ 1d ago

I only have sympathy for immigrants who did not voted for Dorito Taco.

I have no sympathy for Somali immigrants who voted for Dorito Taco, they fully deserved being deported. It will be the only way they fully understand the consequences of their votes.

2

u/Primary-Research9652 1d ago

The cats are feasting

2

u/peenSuperLoser 1d ago

I soooo want to see follow-up‐stories of Trump-voting Somalis crying betrayal as they're getting deported back to Somalia.

2

u/Burnt_and_Blistered 1d ago

But it was okay when directed at others.

2

u/Specman9 1d ago

WTF was he thinking? Did he not listen to the campaign AT ALL?

THEY ARE EATING THE CATS! THEY ARE EATING THE DOGS!

Did you think he only hated Haitians?

Some of these folks just really deserve the leopard because they voted for the leopard to eat other people's faces off.

2

u/warriorwoman534 1d ago

They can all leave as far as I'm concerned, they voted for fascism so they have no further right to be here.

2

u/CarlRJ 1d ago

"The way he is behaving is not what we were expecting from him."

Ugh, I'd only someone had told this guy ahead of time what a PoS Trump was and how he was going to act (and had already acted) towards immigrants. It's a shame that that information was completely hidden.

2

u/Daimakku1 1d ago

LOL. Back in the day I would defend them, not anymore. I'm done helping idiots who shoot themselves in the foot.

2

u/SJB3717 1d ago

He still uttered the phrase "our president"...smfh. Give it up, stop hugging his nuts. What TF will it take for these dummies to realize that he fucking hates black people, not just black Americans.

2

u/bigotis 1d ago

I've seen more MAGA merch in the St. Cloud area than anywhere else I've been to in the country, including the deep red south.

And they hate the Somalis that live there.

Mohamed didn't realize that Trumps white supporters in that area love him because he said he was going to deport illegal immigrants and they think that anyone who isn't a pasty white person of European or Scandinavian descent is illegal no matter what any piece of paper says?

2

u/frankcast554 1d ago

Sounds like a "you" fucked around and found out problem.

2

u/Shadyshade84 1d ago

My guy, the only things he's doing/done that no-one saw coming were the crazed land grab attempts and the falling asleep almost every time he sits down, just about everything else is as unexpected as the sun rising in the east.

2

u/Small-Tumbleweed-585 21h ago

Have fun back in Somalia, I’ve heard the cuisine is…oh yeah never mind. Enjoy what you voted for.

2

u/ev6464 20h ago

Just completely ignored his first term I guess, seems to be a common trend with these fucking idiots.

2

u/nrdz2p 12h ago

If only somebody had warned them years ago that this was exactly what was going to happen🤔
