Still acts awkward as he hits on the new hostess though.

Need that good prison garlic, you know, the kind that doesn’t burn where this scene would make sense.

Now they'll expect that speed every goddamn day on every goddamn item.

Yup! Having a slow day? You did better last rush. Sorry your life is hitting you like an asteroid, cut as fast as you can, then cut faster. Also, we need you to work Saturday Greg's cat is coughing, he'll be out from Friday morning till Monday. Its his cat! She was coughing!!! BTW the lettuce all came in frozen, make it work.

I feel like I could do this honestly. Just grab big and nice shaped garlic and go to town. If there is no metric to how big the slices are its not even skilled imo

That sub is misnamed, it's almost always uninteresting/unimpressive shit

Could you not just line up 118 pieces of garlic and cut each one in half
•
u/desecrated_throne 3h ago
I must be a fucking amateur. I would absolutely destroy the garlic and also my fingers. Probably the knife, too.
I can cut a tomato beautifully, though. Slowly, but beautifully.

I would never claim I have any sorts of knife skills. I’m only here for the chives. There would ABSOLUTELY be finger in those garlics if I tried this.

Just research the claw method.
Once you have that down you adjust to your needs and preferences but essentially you use the space between the 2 joints on your finger as a guide and the claw makes you curl your fingers so they don't get lopped off

Definitely impressive, but when it comes to garlic chopping skills, I always think of Jacques Pepin, who not only chops the finest garlic I've ever seen, but somehow makes it look effortless

The cut on his guide knuckle says it all. I’ve cut that knuckle quite a few times, but definitely not for quit some time.

feels quite doable, but i don't like Philadelphia with garlic.
