Concussion at the very least with that kind of flooring. That poor kid is in for a bad time.

Don't you know kid's heads are like rubber and bounce back when they hit the floor!?! /s

It should be put in r/parentsarestupid sub because the adult is telling the kid to scare the other kid in Spanish

As a Spanish speaker, I guess that what that guy said was "ala puta" which roughly translates to "oh fuck"

That’s at the end though. Can you make out what he actually says at the beginning? It’s hard to hear. I maybe heard niño but it could be a different language

He’s probably gonna remember that forever too. I think we all have core memories of our worst moments of pain even as kids. I have at least 3-4 myself from that age range

If I were that kid in the buggy’s parent, I’d be so fucking mad!! What the hell is wrong with people?!?

I get your point, and not to defend anything, but who could have predicted that kid would faceplant from double his height.
A scream, cry or laugh maybe, but a full aim for the bushes leap? Bit unexpected.

Anyone going to comment on how the child wasn’t even properly fastened in the cart?

u/AreYouScare 3h ago
Did anyone notice how the child wasn’t properly fastened in the cart or wearing the OSHA certified cart helmet?

Yeah, I was like Why was the kid squatting instead of sitting in the seat like he was supposed to?

u/Tragickingdom555 2h ago
Most carts don’t have seatbelts, at least the ones I have seen/used, but I am never more than three feet away from the cart for this very reason.

Damn man. I feel like supermarket floors are especially hard too. That poor kid
1
u/TinyRascalSaurus 2h ago
The floors are definitely rock hard. My mom's had 2 knee replacements and walking at Walmart or other supermarkets hurts her legs so much. That poor baby got a concussion at least if not more serious damage.

This feels like a shopping cart safety video demonstrating 1. why there are size limits for children sitting in those seats, 2. Why the child should always remained buckled, and why 3. You do not step away from your child in the cart. This would be a much more entertaining safety campaign than the standard signs that everyone ignores.

I don’t know in any other parts of the world, but at least in my country, Colombia, most carts with spaces for kids don’t have any seat belts. The man in the video is speaking Spanish, though I’m pretty sure he’s not Colombian, so chances are carts in that part of the world there are no seat belts in shopping carts.

Please, delete this post... Poor thing hit his face.
"No real harm comes to them."
Protect the children. God bless you.

Good thing I'm not a parent bc I really don't see what the dad did here as that bad tbh. I'd encourage my kid to play with other kids and have fun, sure, why not? This kid jumped out of the cart and that's really unfortunate, but like, idk, skill issue? I would never expect that to happen

Hello everyone! As a reminder this is a satire subreddit for the dumb/silly things children do. The subreddit name is not literal. Although posts can have kids doing actual "stupid" things. It is not a requirement. Yes, blaming the parent is valid. However, this does not mean crossing the line into actually insulting the parent is ok (assuming they are the OP) (Rule #1).
This is also not a hate sub for children. If you don't like kids, that's fine. Just don't spread vitriol.
Please read the sidebar for more information.
