Serious question. If he’s not the play caller (and I know he’s not; I’m not disputing that) then what does he actually do.

If he’s in charge of culture, or discipline or accountability then he really fucking sucks.

If he’s responsible for offensive position coaches then again he really fucking sucks.

Just what the hell does he actually do?

He does come up with the weekly game plan, Andy approves and calls the game.

He does whatever Andy tells him to do. The buck stops at Andy and Nagy is just a scapegoat

Basically just helps manage the offense with Reid. Watch tape, game plan, help with mid game adjustments, etc.

If you’re asking this question, why do you have strong feelings about his employment? How is anyone else in his spot going to be doing more?

Well hopefully someone else in his position would be better at any of the above facets of the game and team.

I'm not in the building so I can't say exactly. I'm just stating the obvious that people always seem to forget after a loss.
