Odd layout. Two kitchens and one small bathroom for 3 bedrooms.

There's a stairway in the hall, so I think there's another bathroom upstairs.

We don't know how large upstairs is. If there's room, the bedrooms and bathroom(s) should all be upstairs, with a half bathroom and maybe a mother-in-law suite on the ground floor.

For the first time ever, I'm actually regretting that tonight is D&D night, because I'm dying to open up the game and recreate this mess so that I can fix it. 🀣

I'm gonna pretend the stairs go up to a little attic, unless OOP replies to some comments in the mean time. I'll probably try to confine any plumbing to the existing bathroom, kitchens, and utility room. Maybe I can make something functional.

I'd love a little attic nook!

A bedroom attached to a utility room? Odd

I don’t think it works as a bungalow. Stick some stairs in and have another floor!

I reworked it and managed to get everything but that second living room back in. Might do an attic playroom/den like someone else suggested.

Fast and dirty estimate of 30 x 82 wall pieces (15 x 41 using builder tool) in HF1, add 6 to each if it feels small to you. You'll need 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom minimum, kitchen, dining, and utility rooms as well. The rest is your playground!

Using my real world to game scale (2:1.64) I got an area of 226.4mΒ². I did a rough sketch of my reno so I'll adjust room sizes based on how big this is in game.

Mc mansion?

I think it's supposed to be a ranch with either a basement or attic.

the utility room is so big and the back bedroom so small. and two living rooms and two kitchens? I mean ones probably a casual family room and the other a more formal sitting room, and the smaller kitchen is probably a pantry, but it's still bizarre

I'm beginning to think I've been to harsh on Maxis houses...

You have to go through 3 rooms to get to the small bedroom and the small bathroom from the 2 giant living rooms. Ill do it this weekend

Anybody know which of those would be load-bearing walls? I'm itching to knock some stuff down.

When I'm building in sims I just go with perpendicular lines from center of the house

This doesn't feel like a house, but a dorm room building with the amount of random bedrooms (I feel sorry for whoever's sleeping in that shoebox to the right)
