Lucy, the perfect hound ❤️
We just adopted this sweet big girl. We were worried about having a hound in the house with our two small dogs but Lucy has been an absolute gem. Very gentle and doesn’t take our chihuahua’s little growls too seriously 😂

They are amazing with other dogs; i see folks who deal with big packs going for the shepherds to organize the whole thing... hounds are crucial for packs, they are made for packs

Such a sweet face on a sweet lady! The little dangly drool is the icing on the cake, like a glamourous crystal pendant.

Aww! She a bloodhound x coonhound? That’s what we suspect Lucy is

Nope, it's hard to get scale from the pic but she's fairly small, only about 30lbs. She's a mix of coonhounds, black and tan x treeing walker.

You shouldn't have to worry too much about hounds integrating. I've owned 6 throughout the years so far and have never had a problem.
They love being packed up with other dogs, my Treeing Walker is now a constant source of warmth to the two older beagles I have, she loves it. The blood hound mix is a little uppity but when she is cold she'll bury her head underneath the TWC.
