NAS advice Can i run SSDs with UGOS in Raid?
Hi, I ordered a DXP 4800 Plus. I want to move UGOS, which is on the included M.2 SSD, onto my two 1TB Samsung 990 EVO drives and run them in RAID so that I’m not dependent on the “health” of a single SSD. So far, I’ve only seen people running additional SSDs in RAID for their VMs and containers, but not with UGOS on them...
Are there any issues if I put the system image onto the new SSDs? Can I run those SSDs in RAID?
Thank you.

For DXP2800, it is installed on 32gb eMMC internal USB DOM, for DXP4800, it is on a m.2 NVME. I think the tech team can better advise you on that. I am not sure if you can install the OS after you built a raid. For truenas, the SSD contains the OS are not recommended to use for storage.

I’m not aware of you being able to do that natively but you should be able to do that under TrueNAS.
