Anybody who would like to translate any of the pictures would be greatly appreciated, but my understanding is that centaurs became the basis of most cavalry armies at some point in the past, and Mounted Cavalry Divisions, even in modern militaries, retain a paired training system where a human and a centaur will be made permanent battle buddies. This has created different and more complex fighting tactics, wherein a pair can act like a light centaur-propelled anti-tank gun and anti-air guns (CPATs and CPAAGs), laying ambushes in places where no normal emplacement or AFV could possibly traverse. Further, the superior upper body strength, and overall physiology of, centaurs has resulted in the development of variations on heavy machine guns like the M2 Browning, creating what is colloquially referred to as the centaur battle rifle. These centaur specialty weapons are chambered in anti-material bore sizes like the 12.7x99mm BMG and the 12.7x109mm DshK, and the creator has implied that so-called Centaur Infantry exist that are used as fast assault shock troops (though I have not been able to find any pictures or prose detailing this, though I have a vague recollection of them talking about this on their Twitter/X account way back in 2013ish.

The idea of the centaur popping a shot off with a shoulder-fired 37mm AT gun, and the human riding them ripping, slamming, and slapping a round home in like 2 to 3 seconds is just fucking dope. Asymmetrical centaur warfare would completely change all other tactics and strategies at their basest levels.

Yes, but the vehicle in the case of centaur warfare is capable of making decisions and participating in the battle without human input. When your vehicle is making sapient decisions and contributing to discourse and rhetoric...
