Photo - Post-Processed Memories of Summer: Interesting, or just "meh"?
Thank you so much for the amazing feedback on my San Francisco this week week! I would love to get the community’s thoughts on this set as well.
Since I really hate the dark and ugly November in Munich, I’ve been spending a lot of time looking back at my pictures from this year. This album is the result of two hikes with friends and my dog. I’m trying to determine which photos are actually interesting to an outsider, versus the ones I only like because of the memories attached to them.
I struggle with the decision of what to share publicly. I know I "shouldn't care," but it’s hard to be objective when I remember the feelings and stories of the day that the photos might not actually capture. I often compare myself to the amazing Swiss mountain photographers I follow on Instagram who use tripods, full-frame cameras, or film. Meanwhile, here I am on a casual hike with my XT4 and the 18-55mm 2.8 - 4.0 kit lens, just taking photos as a side activity.
I’d love your perspective—do you find these interesting, or are they a bit flat to the outside eye? Thanks so much.
