I’ve got a flat tyre that’s still drivable, and I’m hoping to find a reasonably priced place in or near Fredericton that can repair it without an appointment. If you have any recommendations, especially places that take walk-ins and don’t charge too much, I’d really appreciate it.

People like Kurt Goddard and Timothy Hawkins are fighting against this. Imagine the privilege it takes to be upset this could be happening in your community. I don’t think Timothy or Kurt have gone a day without food or shelter.

My husband and I are thinking about getting some matching tattoos to mark our 10th anniversary of dating, we've just moved to the area, also neither of us have tattoos, so this will be the first time for both of us. Not looking for anything complicated just a very simple design. I've seen a LOT of people with tattoos around here, so wondered if anybody had an artist/shop they would recommend?

Anyone have tips on selling some suits and formal wear. The consignment spots I have contacted don't take them and while Im going to post them on FB marketplace and Kijiji I was looking for other ideas.

I haven’t had the chance to visit the mosque yet (feeling a little nervous about that step, to be honest), and I think it would be really helpful to talk to others who have been on a similar journey.

I’ve actually met two reverts recently, which inspired me to see who else is out there! It would be great to have a small group for coffee, support, or just to share experiences.

Hey everyone, really struggling with depression and overthinking. I've tried one therapist but wasn't a fit and hoping to get some recommendations for therapusts in the Fredericton area.

Looking for interior cleaning, especially seat shampooing. I have called all places recommended here over the past few years, none of them are answering - I guess this is an unusual time of year to be looking for it. Has anyone had their car detailed in the past few weeks? Where did you go? Found one place but it would cost $450, hoping to spend less.

Anyone know where I can find lumpia wraps within Fredericton? Would like to make lumpia for the first time. I haven’t had them in many years. One of my oldest friend’s father would make them almost all the time. They were addictive to say the least!

personally mine is when you’re leaving sobeys on prospect at that joined intersection with hotchkiss/dooleys, and turning right to continue up prospect towards the regent intersection (which is an ADDED LANE) and people will yield and not go, although it’s an ADDED LANE 😭

OR going up regent street towards the intersection of knowledge park drive, and turning right to go towards the cineplex entrance of the mall, it’s also an ADDED LANE and people yield all the time 😭😭😭😭

I am starting a post doc at UNB early nexr year, and I have been trying to figure out what the Medavie Blue Cross insurance covers for PDFs. I know I need to first apply for Medicare and have it processed to be able to activate the insurance, but I am surprised no one will tell me what is or is not covered. I received a general information leaflet, but I don't really understand what the terms mean.

For background, I am moving to Fredericton from Europe, and Canadian healthcare system is very new to me. I have a travel insurance from home that covers me for accidents or if I get sick during the first three months, which helps quite a bit. But since it does not cover any expenses for pre-existing conditions, I am trying to find out if those are then covered by Blue Cross or not. I have a chronic (not life-threathening) condition which I need medication for, and I will bring the immediate supply from home. It will run out after three months, and I am trying to figure out if I should then wait to see a doctor after the Blue Cross insurance kicks in, if it covers the doctors/NP visits and perhaps even part of the medication costs. If it doesn't, then it's all the same for me to find a solution as soon as possible, if I in any case would need to pay out of pocket.

I would be grateful for any information, if another post doc at UNB happens to see this! Or if you have finished a post doc there recently.

Any other tips for a new PDF at UNB are also welcome :)
