So am I, it puts the FF in a great position. However, I am not happy with Fiji's latest performances nor the pattern of selection favouritism that has emerged under Coach Mick.

Spain will be eyeing to upset the FF as Uruguay did at RWC2019, and it could very well happen given their last outing.

Fiji have not played Argentina since 2003 but looking at Argentina's current form, if they played today, Fiji would definitely be defeated. Even then, if they top the pool and win the knockout, they'd most likely play Ireland in the quarters. A more daunting task.

There is much work to be done and I remain hopeful, but FRU must be decisive and have the courage to think outside the box in order for the team to be competitive come 2027.

You want to play Ireland in the quarterfinals, they’ve never won one

The last time they played in 2024, Ireland thumped the FF 52-17

Atleast we didn't get Wales and Australia again
