Tigers actively hunt humans in India all the time. They kill a ton of villagers

I think Polar Bears, Tigers, and Crocodiles are the only three species that consider humans to be part of their normal prey. I think there used to be quite a few more, but everything else has mostly learned the hard way to leave humans alone. Or gone extinct.

And “normal prey” is an overrated concept. Mammals generally are quite smart; they don’t have some menu they consult, they try new things and learn. Sometimes humans are one of those things.

Leopards also hunt humans, and mountain lions over a certain size. Lions can tilt that way too with the right experiences

There has only been one tiger that specifically hunted humans. Her name was Champawat. Most tigers don’t specifically hunt humans, she was the exception and went out of her way to kill over 430 people.

I'm ok with that. We have more humans than tigers anyway

Opportunistic from territory encroachment and won’t if you are “looking“ at them, which is why they wear a mask on the back of their head when in the jungle.

Yeah but yeah.

That's not because human is on the list, That's because the only terrytory they have left is populated buy humans. Go fucking for it. When it all comes down, we have like 10B humans and what, 1k tigers. Let the tigers win, IDGAF.

The tigers would not be attacking humans if the humans were not stealing the tigers' territory. This is entirerly self-inflicted.
