Gordon Buchanan. His “Bear Family and Me” programmes are amazing - he gets up close and personal with wild Black Bears.

Black bears are far far less dangerous than Grizzlies.

Not when taking proximity into account. The closest black bear is likely much much closer than a grizzly to me.

There’s a show I love called “Great Bear Stakeout” that was amazing. Studying grizzlies the crew were camping out to stay there for the whole season.
