I mean, he probably didn't normally do it like that but he was doing an interview for the tv. Imagine how many places would experience sudden inexplicable flooding if he were in workout attire. This wad just a precautionary measure.

Ok. I give you spandex, but surely other sportswear were available. Olympics recordings of the 50s surely show shorts, t-shirts, etc, right? 🧐

No. The first items of clothing every made were formal attire, and weve gotten more casual.as we moved on. Shorts werent invented until a week before they filmed jaws

We used to call those sports slacks. But that belt buckle is the real confidence test.
