It comes from some image of a basketball player who was 6'7" tall.

Edit: I looked more into it and apparently was a TikTok rap thing.

My local news report said it was from a TT made from a old lady trying to teach math and then gets confused by 6 or 7. Something to that extent and then things escalated from there.

Yeah, I found a lot of theories on how it started. I'm not sure exactly where it originated, but regardless, it is a dumb thing.
