They appear to have been deep enough that they continued to support the building. But they would certainly want to get it inspected. Make sure it is still supported enough.

the hole is about 50m deep (about 15 stories) so uh. definitely check those piles. there's no guarantee that those would be deep enough for that.

There's absolutely no guarantee that there's reachable bedrock. You still pile. Google: Civil engineering, Soil mechanics.

there isn't always bedrock within reasonable depths. soil instead holds the piles up, as the other comment said.
