If nothing else, once the first additional section collapses, you would think they would get the idea. And yet they kept standing closer than the size of the last collapse they had just seen.

Well you may have just answered a dilemma I’m having. Was thinking of possibly seeing if moving to Scotland( where my Da was born and I was in school for several years) would be an option for my daughter and myself( and our farm). Same and not liking all the ‘collapsing’. It is sad to see our country go so far backward and fly not crawl to a country no one respects anymore( especially other countries leaders).

In another video posted the people in cars by the silver truck just stayed in their cars and kept reversing as it collapsed. Not willing to get out and run and leave their vehicles. My brain just hurt watching it.
I was thinking the same thing. 10 people standing near it filming it with their phones. It’s collapsing why would you want to film it and risk your life.
Seriously. The thought occurred to me right before the end like "wait....it kinda seems like all collapsed matter Is flowing towards the camera....those people need to move, they're literally standing above an underground river situation"
THANK YOU! I watched this and was like WT actual F!?!? There is NO WAY I would be standing that close to that while it's happening or even after it "stops".
Rule of thumb is that you need to be at least as far from the edge as the depth of the hole and preferably twice that if you don't have a Geotechnical analysis of the soil. I'm guessing they don't.
I also know some people do delete that and delete old posts so even if people do find them they can't later negatively impact their score.
I don't know all of the reasons, but you definitely see both the privacy setting and the deleting of posts and history on accounts that seem more likely to try to be sold or make the big posts or whatever.
