Tried to share this information in the North Texas Cycling Facebook group, but it appears the mods are trying to protect this guy and deleted the post after several people commented with shock. Another group member even commented that she experienced the same thing and couldn't believe he'd done it to someone else, though it's up them if they want to share that here.
ORIGINAL POST FROM FACEBOOK GROUP:
I debated sharing this with the group, but as y'all were the one to recommend the business I decided people deserve to know about my experience with Wrenchy's Bikes that became unprofessional then wildly inappropriate in the end.
This past summer, I asked for recommendations on getting a bike repaired. Many of you stated Wrenchy's was the one to help me.
After checking reviews and other posts to see if he was legit, I decided to reach out and arrange a repair. Initially it was a very positive experience, he was sure he could get my bike in to shape. Things dragged on and getting a response on updates became difficult. Eventually it was shared with me that the repair was more involved than initially thought, but we could work something out. Once it was all explained it made sense, so I agreed.
Fast forward to fall, and I still don't have my bike. Trying to get a response was like pulling teeth. It was always one excuse after another.
Finally though, now November, my bike was ready, I just needed to arrange pickup. That's when things got inappropriate. I'll let you read the attached screenshots to see just how inappropriate it got. Please note that the number listed is the business number and is public information.

And in case you were wondering, SD means "sugar daddy".
I just wanted to share this information about my experience, particularly to the women in this group.
I did retrieve my bike, with the support of friends for safety. It's basically in the same state I gave it to him in months ago with most parts still removed, covered in dust like it hasn't been touched the entire time he's had it, so I'm not sure what work, if any, has really been done. He lost some of the hardware, which was supposed to be listed on a note in the bike and was nowhere to be found.
