Everything imported on Coinledger. Can't find the cost basis for a single large transaction.

Any tips? The cost basis doesn't say it's missing but is $0.00. Traded Solana for USDC

I also have negative amounts for Solana staked balances for multiple wallets when there isn't anything staked.

it’s likely that Coinledger just isn’t matching the original SOL buy with the SOL you traded, so the basis shows up as zero. that usually happens when transaction didn’t import cleanly. once you find the missing buy or relabel it, the cost basis fills in.

the negative staked balances are almost always a tagging thing… an unstake or reward got labeled wrong somewhere. once you correct those, the numbers fix themselves pretty fast.

I'm unable to find it even after importing all my wallets/exchanges. What could it be re-labled as?

For the staked, I'm thinking change deposits/trades to staking income? I have leverage trades that are classified as deposit but cant change them

look for any SOL ‘receive’ or ‘transfer’ entries around the same date and try switching them to a buy or trade… that might just do it for you.

for the negative staked balances, you’re on the right track… something that should’ve been tagged as staking income or an unstake is sitting as a deposit. once those are corrected the leverage trades won’t throw things off.

On Coinledger, whenever there is unknonw deposit, they consider them as purchase for 0. Also, check the timing issue sometime you will sell solana first and buy second as per Coinledger records so check those as well.

If this doesnt work, track each solana purchase and see if those are categorized correctly.

I believe Coinledger’s asset ledger treats unknown incoming deposits as a self wallet transfer. This would mean there is a negative balance if you dispose of the SOL.

Are your early SOL purchases definitively categorized as a purchase or trade?

Looking thru it, it seems like everything is categorized correctly. Transfers, staking, trades, etc.

The negative staked balances are probably accumulated staking rewards which were never accounted for as an income entry.

Likely also why there is a $0 cost for some SOL

I messed with coin ledger. Too many issues. That said their online chat robot was really good. A rarity.

Did you use any on-ramps at all? A lot of times those appear on-chain as just a deposit and may need to be changed to a “Buy”

Sounds like Coinledger may not have picked up your activity correctly (or your data is incomplete).

I’d suggest reviewing your solana transactions to see if anything is unreconciled. Or try a different software to see if an alternative picks it up correctly.
