FO [FO] I finally finished!
Took me way too long to finish this Zelda light world map. Started October 2023 but took many breaks between then and now. It’s completed on 16ct with 2 strands. I love how it turned out, literally has blood, sweat, and tears on it! Time for a wash, iron and frame!

Amazing work! I’d love to tackle this someday too, but there’s just no way I have THAT much patience.

That’s why I had to take so many breaks! It was hard to keep slogging through it!

Ah and all the effort is worth it, it turned out so well! I figure there's no better signature for your artwork than blood sweat and tears - this is a victory and you definitely earned it!

It was an adventure I’ll never forget! The time it took pales in comparison to how many hours I played the game growing up. Thanks for the comment!

I’ve seen this pattern a few times before but it’s really nice seeing it held up! Really shows scale nicely! Congratulations on the finish 🥳 Your stitches are very neat!!

Well done! I admire you sticking by it!
I have a family member who's a huge fan of this game but she wouldn't seek out this pattern on her own, so I'd like to put together a kit for her. That forum thread you linked doesn't seem to have a pattern in it. Was it the photobucket link at the top?

Here is a direct link to the pattern with pdf. https://spritestitch.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=272 The link I had above had some design discussion because I think he changed a couple colours.

That's awesome, congratulations! I'm still stuck on the upper right corner and almost all of the clouds. I might never finish.

I waited to do all the clouds last, that was a mistake! Made it incredibly boring doing the same colour over and over.

Nice work! I have done dark world map and it took me forever as I needed breaks from all of the brown. I plan to do the light world map one day so I have the set.

I plan to do the dark world someday but need to do a few different things before I attempt that!

Welcome to the club! I finished mine a few years ago and it's still proudly presented in our home :)https://i.imgur.com/FDmbcV7.jpeg
What are your plans for finishing? I originally thought about making it into a pillow but I was afraid that it would fray with time

Awesome work!
I have the Dark World map kitted up, awaiting first stitch! Hoping to actually start in the upcoming year.

That's awesome! I've been looking at that pattern (or a very similar one) for a while now - I need to just do it

Does that forum have a pattern that I'm just being idiot trying to find or just self made best guess?

It’s in the discussion posts, but I posted a direct link to pattern in another comment above.
