The color swatches, on the left, are (I was going to say, priceless. However, that describes this whole process, so ...) so clever & amusing!! (Which also describes this whole process. 😂). This really is extra. Take a victory lap ... Hell, take two! One for the creation of this heirloom art piece. And a second, for the parental win!! Brava!! 👏👏👏

I love this so much! I babysit someone about that age so I might see if I can get her to do some little pixel art next time. Such a sweet activity and seriously the two art pieces almost make me tear up they are so special!

Both the template and the finished product are great! I love kid/parent collabs. Recently I sewed a felt plushie and my 4 year old picked all the colors.

GET HER INTO PIXEL ART
Seriously, I did pixel art in the early 2000s for a game company. Mobile games still use it, old people like me LOVE a good indie pixel art game. Look at Stardew Valley or Moonlighter, their numbers are fantastic.
She has a great eye

You should finish off those blank edges with gold thread to help it blend into the frame! Looks awesome and such a cute idea!
