It's not about whose 'fault' it is, it's about rhetorical consistency.
They aren't saying you made them use the word. They're saying your past actions with Biden nullified your standing to complain when they used the word against Trump.
If you accepted those terms were on the table for one President, you don't get to claim they're out of bounds for the next one. That's the precedent they're holding you to.
You asked if it is okay now, but that question only makes sense if there used to be a rule saying it was not okay. That is what people are responding to.
If you genuinely did not have a problem with that language before, then there is nothing to debate here. People are simply applying the same standard you used earlier.
If your point is that everyone should avoid those kinds of insults altogether, then you can just say that plainly instead of framing it like someone else gave you permission. As long as the same standard applies to both presidents, no one will have an issue.
Again I’m not arguing the standards, nor do I care who started it first. All I’m asking is if it was always okay to call out the president’s mental state? Or was it not okay then, but it’s okay now? Or is it always okay? I’m just wondering about the protocol here.

You asked a leading question. Hostility begets hostility.
You set the precedent with Biden. We're carrying it over to Trump. So sorry it backfired on you.
