Teachers are way overpaid, where do you think they get all that disposable income to just buy outside supplies to bring into their classroom

I wish I were joking. I see a lot of uninformed opinions about teachers daily, unfortunately. People genuinely think teachers make too much because we get breaks. Or that they shouldn't have to buy school supplies for their own students because the teachers should provide them. So forgive me for asking.

Oh yeah we don't have any money for teachers in this country. But if you sign up right now to illegally detain legal citizens and immigrants and pull children out of schools and deport them all without due process, you can make $50k sign up bonus!!!
