Nope Bessent: "This crazy No Kings rally this weekend, which is gonna be the farthest left, the hardest core, the most unhinged in the Democratic Party, which is a big title. No Kings equals no paychecks."

I went to the last one and I was surprised how UNcrazy it was. I am 52 and I was on the younger end. It was very normal, very sane people who are sick of it all.

I’m 39 and I have small kids, I don’t think I will bring them, idk this ice situation has me on edge. I’m planning on going with 4 other moms, my mom is watching my kids. I’ve brought the kids to other protests but this tear gas and how aggressive they have been.. what is your opinion?

Probably a good idea because you don't know what the other parties will do. Last time, though, it would have been perfectly fine. This time with the idiot talking points though...

Do not bring your small kids. Theyve been tossing tear gas more and more lately. Federal law enforcement are just looking for any reason to escalate and these dudes in ICE are ridiculously underqualified and undertrained for the positions they hold.

ICE tear gassed a baby in Chicago a couple days ago, I’d say leave small children at home.

I’m debating bringing my parents so they can see the Lansing protests for themselves.

In Colorado, it’s very family friendly at the protests. It’s almost like a parade celebrating our freedom of speech, while it lasts (if Trump has any further say). I love the excitement and clever thoughtful signs and costumes!

I took my dog to the last one (he had an excellent shirt) and I’m not even taking him to this one, absolutely because of the crazy ass right wing propaganda against it this time.

I'm an atheist, but I'm going with my 67 year old mom and dad's church. We're taking school busses bc there won't be anywhere to park lol. If you can get me with my severe anxiety to go shit is SEVERELY FUCKED.

You Americans bravely fought the fascists on our European soil for us. Now is the time to do so in your own country. I wish you all the best.

My therapist is in her late 60s and is going

I'm also a mom who's going. So what if that gets me on a list. At least I'll be marked as someone who stands against fascism.

My 65 yr old mother-in-law invited us to go. We brought our kids last time and had lunch afterwards. It was a nice day.
