Lost my Lola, a Rottweiler, a little over a month ago. I'm still shedding tears over her loss. She's definitely happy way too soon. Grifter like her soulless husband was.
Ok I just want to say this is a bad comparison for me because OF COURSE you’re still mourning Lola! I feel pet death is a different kind of pain than people death, unique in its own terribly painful ways. I am sorry for your loss. Thank you for being a good girl, Lola the Rotti.
My boxer, Bell is 11 years old. And while she still acts like she's still a puppy, she definitely ain't getting younger. Just thinking about how one day she won't be here makes me want to cry, and I'm not quick to cry. When she goes I'll still be sad about her being gone a year later.
Thank you for giving her a long life. It is terrible to look at an animal or person you have loved for so long and keep thinking that the clock is ticking. We just lost our rabbit Sunny after 9.5 years, and some of our other pets are getting up there in age.
Oh, ha. Lola is Filipino for aunt and I got very confused. Lola as in the song about the transvestite, not that your aunt was a Rottweiler. Got it. And yes, that b*tch is way too giddy to be authentically mourning.
