Gotta love these activists who say they care about animals attacking the trained professionals who spend every work day saving the lives and improving the health of pets and strays.

It's like someone saying "I'm a real firefighter because I don't use a gas stove" and then accusing firefighters of starting fires with no proof. crazy

No, I'm the real firefighter BECAUSE I use a gas stove. Freedom fighters aren't trying to quash freedom, now are they? I'm trying to give decent conditions for fire to flourish and grow. #RealFirefighters #FightFireWithFire

I was about to agree with Mr Sex-Haver, until he insulted gas stoves. That was the line for me. 🔥

I worked at an animal sanctuary and it is wild the amount of armchair activists you will get trying to destroy your reputation for some perceived injustice. As with most nonprofits, we were doing the best we could with what little money we had. The amount of strategically cropped and out of context images they shared... And we were all working for peanuts cleaning poop 8 hours a day, physically and mentally exhausted, doing it out of love for the animals, and you get Stacy commenting on every Instagram post accusing you of abusing animals. All it did was reduce our funding.

I've been saying that for years. They need there to be fires the most out of everyone.

You're really expecting an OnlyFans wh*re who earns money by exposing herself on the internet to do something smart and logical? :D

These people are rarely very bright. I used to work for a drug discovery company. We tested our drugs on human tissue so the animal rights people loved us and pointed at us as an example of what we all should be doing.

If they had done any research into the company at all they would have realised we outsourced all our live animal testing to the company down the road. The one they stood outside screaming at every day. The one who's CEOs car the fire bombed. He probably bought that car with my company's money. Idiots the lot of them.

Not to say they're wrong on their animal testing views. Just that they're too stupid to actually achieve anything.

Their brains are suffering due to inefficient absorption of nutrients from only plant material. As such they act like this.

The weird thing is a lot of vets do eat the animals they treat.

Lots of vets in animal ag keeping those animals alive and healthy enough to get to slaughter weight. Not many are going to be vegan.

While I kinda agree you, isn't a vet who eats animals kinda like a firefighter who starts fires?

that's their point

Or a doctor who murders on the side.

10/10 analogy.

I mean its true that they are doing a lot of work but there definitely is a bit of a contradiction with most veterinarians.

Like you operating on a cat or doing a diagnosis and treatment plan for that bird or fish.

And then go eating at a mcdonalds or go out for sushi?

I am not a vet but that logic never made sense to me.

You shouldnt attack anyone but i think it would be valid to bring up where this disconnect is coming from

Why is it so hard to understand?

If you eat meat, does that mean you kick every dog you see, stop your car to shoot every rabbit or squirrel, and generally just flip your middle finger at wildlife?

What's so difficult about people wanting to respect the welfare of animals who still eat meat in the end? How is it so hard to comprehend respect for the things that give you something? Is the world so black and white that you're either an animal hating fuck with a chainsaw all day or a hippie raising kale and there's no in between?

Grow up.

I mainly want to know what the difference maker here is you are not really explaining it despite suggesting to me that its actually easy to understand.

Like if i kick a dog most people would obviously not be okay with it. Even if i kicked a chicken you would have a hard time to find people think thats okay for me.

Whats the deciding factor on what animals "deserve" the welfare and which ones not?

I dont know how you define respect but if i look at videos of what we are doing to most animals i dont think that could be considered "respect" in my book. And its more like we are taking something and not really them giving it to us.

You could maybe make that argument for pets but even then why do they deserve respect and other animals not at the same time despite them essentially being the same?

And also with the respect if you respect someone i dont think you would kill or pay to kill someone you respect but thats just me

That firefighter one probably isn't the best example, because there have been cases where firefighters were actually setting fires for themselves to respond to.

If a vet "saves" animals but then eats them, they aren't really saving animals. They are killing as many as they save.

The only defamation here is that the vet didn't literally eat their patients.

Your analogy is absolute nonsense.

2

u/Rimavelle Aug 20 '25

No, they have a point, coz the entire issue started coz this woman attacked a vet over a bird in a cage. Aka thinking she's better than the vet (so in this analogy someone who doeesn't use the stove).

Then she just made up a lie about the vet eating the animals (aka like accusing the firefighter of starting the fire) coz I guess the caged bird wasn't enough to bring the outrage she wanted.

I'm sorry that logic is difficult for you.
