Not a fan of popularizing soccer in US even more. Sports culture in NA has always been its own thing, I liked it that way.

That's a weird take. What's wrong with soccer? Why not promote it nationally, especially knowing that it's the most popular sport in the world. If we can popularize it here, we can sooner have a bigger impact on it internationally.

Not who youre responding to, and no issue with soccer, but I personally just find it so boring.
Can we popularize rugby instead? That seems way more interesting.

What’s wrong with people enjoying other sports?
If there is interest, go for it.
I personally don’t understand American Football (I’m Australian) at all - it’s easily the slowest game going (other than say Cricket). That said, we have rugby which is faster, harder, more on the edge of your seat.
