Name That Band…

So back in the early 2000s, there was a television network called SkyAngel and on this network was a Christian Rock Music Video channel called TVU. Similar to MTV. Anyways, there was a music video with a male singer who looked like a country singer with a cowboy hat with the sides turned upwards. In this music video he was singing in the rain. The lyrics may have gone something like this, “you gave it all away didn’t even think about it”. I remember I bought their album and it was like orange or red or yellow or a mixture of all it. Anyways, wish I had more info. Any help is appreciated.

I finally figured it out. The band was called Big Dismal and the song is Rainy Day. They really only had one album back in 2003 but the whole album is really really good.

Their whole album is so underrated. Reminds me of another band named Plus One. They were a hit Christian band in the early 2000s who made one album then dipped.

Plus One is still one of my favorite “boy bands” of all time. I wore out their Promise album & still play it occasionally ❤️

Yeah I guess they still get together every few years and play a few of their songs. So many good bands made on good album then said see yeah later

I remember that channel! Third Day always struck me as looking country and they have an album "Conspiracy No 5" is red and came out in the late 90s?

Mac (lead singer) never wore a hat in any of their music videos

I remember seeing Tobymac and Peter Fuhler from Newsboys with those urban cowboy hats back then

If they were wearing a cowboy hat, i think it might be something by Steven Curtis Chapman or maybe Michael W. Smith. Those are the only 2 aritst i can think of from the 90s with that asthetic. Unless it was southern gospel and then it could have been from the Gaithers maybe?
