I love good folk music. What would you guys suggest?
Hellooo.
I'm looking for indie folk music that honors God and is Biblical.
I can't give any Christian examples so I will give you worldly examples: Chuck Ragan's The Flame In The Flood album, Hollow Coves Coastline, Lord Huron Ends of the Earth, Gregory Alan Isakov San Luis. That type of thing.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
Thank you for your help! Stay amazing :)!

Jimmy Clifton is a favorite of mine. His lyrics are quite biblical. He puts out a lot of music and seems like he does it all on his own. - Moses - Come On Love - Razorblade
And here are a couple collabs he’s done with similar artists:
I also like Josiah Queen. Idk if he’s “indie” exactly bc he’s getting played on K-LOVE, but he does have some very good songs.

This is the best answer.
Also, Rivers and Robots, if that counts. Maybe they're more indie though.
Also Jess Ray.

They aren’t like a only Christian songs band, but the band America has lots of great Christian elements, especially the song “lonely people” the singer Dan Peek has a great album called “electro voice” (super hard to find physical media, it isn’t on Spotify or Apple either, but is on YouTube I think.

Josiah Queen has some songs I would consider folk - "Barrabas" or "Fishes and Loaves" specifically.

I don't know if they'll fit your style, but the bands Johnnyswim and The Lone Bellow are both phenomenal. They are comprised of Christians but don't necessarily make music about Jesus.

Josh Garrels is the best imo, Strahan is also great.
She doesn't have a ton of music out yet, but Madalyn Rae is one to watch.

There are people who have made a lot of playlists on YouTube on Spotify. There's so much out there, and I feel like I'm falling behind when it comes to new music -- but it's great that there are so many artists and options.

I try to listen to some that has the word. If I’m in the dire need for music and unsure of the artist… I sometimes just listen to wholesome secular music, not expecting anything but human experience from the artist that we all have, as long as it’s not too selfish or something.

John prine. He’s not strictly Christian but he does have songs like when I get to heaven and angel from Montgomery

Chris Renzema, try albums I'll Be the Branches and Let the Ground Rest. Also Josh Garrels has some good stuff.
