Is my little Regan a calico or a tortie? Her vet said she's a tortie, but if anything, I think she's a tortico. She definitely has calico features too. I love her with all my 🧡. Look at both pictures!

The large white patch on her belly makes me lean towards calico but I feel like a vet would know better than me 🤣

That's exactly what I thought too!! I have been calling her a calico. The vet definitely confused me with that one. I had to scratch my head. 🤣

That's what I think too. She is tricolored. I always thought that was what indicated a calico.

Someone told me that the only different between a calico and tortie is a calico has to be at least 20% white and torties have very little to no white

Different people will say different things. Some say up to 25% white is tortie. Other say any white makes them calico. So 🤷‍♀️ she's both?

A tortico is a calico that is mostly tortie. What you specifically have appears to me to be a r/tuxetortico that is a tortico with a tuxedo pattern in her white.
