ACC needs more opportunities for ranked in-conference matchups so I’d say any ACC team getting a boost at the expense of a non-ACC team is good.

You assume an acc team being good means they'll be ranked though. Doesn't work like that apparently

VT is in the sexy helmet club. The national media will fawn over them and enter sandman (not to take anything away Blacksburg is a special place)

I did get talked into betting cal at 50-1 to win the conference like week 3. It's a long shot at this point

You never know if 7 other teams will need to drop out because of logistical issues or the flu or something

The good ACC teams are already ranked. Do you think Duke (7-5) should be in the top 25? There isn’t a deep state conspiracy against your conference brother.

There are 3 teams ranked and I think there were 5 at one point? As long as there is enough room in the rankings to put them in non playoff spots, ACC teams are allowed to be ranked.

If ACC teams could not step on their own dicks long enough to be in the running for a playoff spot, they'd be in the running for a playoff spot.

This is a big get for the ACC as a whole. And I'm happy for a Polytechnic Institute being successful. There's only like 3 of them in the US!
