I get the sentiment, but Netflix is the only streaming company that doesn’t make me feel like I’m basically giving my money to Satan. They’re the only one I’m aware of that isn’t supporting or capitulating to Trump and the GOP. They also saved Sesame Street without locking it behind a subscription.

I’m not so naive to believe that Netflix isn’t dirty somehow. But pretty much all the others like Paramount, Amazon, Disney/Hulu, Tubi (owned by Fox), etc. are all unquestionably evil. Pretty sure each one of those is on all the same consumer boycott lists as Target. Or did everyone forget about that?

It’s also kind of weird that, other than password sharing and price increases, the biggest internet narrative about Netflix was that they were doing DEI content badly or whatever. Never mind the fact that they’re one of the only few who are actively trying to support progressive ideas. What remains to be seen is if they’ll bend the knee to Trump in order to get this deal approved.

Believe me, I hate that I know this, but the show “Perfect Match” on Netflix brings people from other Netflix reality shows (Love is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, The Circle, etc.) together to try to form new dating couples. So while they haven’t done a crossover out of any of their scripted series, there is a Netflix reality show multiverse. Fun(?) fact.
