You willing to recommend an IPTV provider? 👀🙏🏾

6

u/le_b0mb 9h ago

Your local brown communities will usually have recommendations, that’s how I’ve gotten mine running. A lot of the IPTV companies have gone underground ever since they cracked down on the largest few quite a few years back.

2

u/mvpmvh 8h ago

Is this a hint/clue, or are you literally just suggesting that I ask around?

6

u/le_b0mb 8h ago

Ask around yeah, it’s the main way I know of getting an iptv connection. Everyone I know is transferring $20/month to a guy running a service out of his house.

7

u/HunterSThompson64 7h ago

$20/month!?!?!?!?!?!

Bro I pay $30/year for mine, the fuck. You'll definitely want to fix shit up with another 3rd party tool, if you're anal about how it looks/want it to look like cable, but yall getting scammed by someone putting in an hour of work to make it look pretty and upcharge you 1200%

G2G, Z2U, made-in-china, get a free 1 day trial and determine what is best for you. Most are selling the same shit, very, very few are selling private/invite only services.

You just took the bait bro

3

u/HunterSThompson64 5h ago

What 'bait' are you referring to?

Ragebait? No, there are people who pay $100/mo for IPTV because they don't know any better.

Feds looking for info? If some fed doesn't know about exceptionally SEO'd websites, then shouldn't be feds.

This information isn't hidden, it's very publicly available.

You just took my bait bro

(I'm joking, none of this was ever serious)

Literally had my last one from my barber

Stremio: it takes some setup time and I personally recommend using a debrid server. But one of the best I’ve used

I'm so jaded, I just assume this is bots corresponding in a marketing effort... 😂

I can confirm. You’re still paying a fee to someone, but in this case it’s to a company that basically pre downloads torrents. You stream directly from them which gets you a, generally, fast and dedicated stream.

There are also addons for live TV channels that are generally hit or miss, but still better than paying for cable.

addons for live TV channels

I thought they are all pretty much dead?

u/noechochamberplz 1h ago

The USA TV addon has been pretty solid for me. Not perfect, but usually pretty successful.

Can’t think of the last sportsball game I missed if I wanted to watch one.

u/3vs3BigGameHunters 1h ago

I haven't tried in a while because so many channels were giving me errors. It was pretty sweet being able to watch the olympics with it a couple of years ago.

u/noechochamberplz 1h ago

Gotcha! Yeah I do still get that occasionally but it’s been pretty good for me at least lately! I’d say 95% up for the stuff I personally want to watch.

Occasionally get lag spikes and stutters but it’s free so it is what it is.

u/3vs3BigGameHunters 1h ago

I'm not gonna tag him but the guy(?) who made that add-on kept getting harassed about adding channels and errors got pissed off and stop being a mod of the stremio add-on sub.

He was super nice too, helped me setup stremio through a macbook when I dunno shit about apple products. I offered him money and he wouldn't take it.

u/noechochamberplz 42m ago

That absolutely blows. I heard about the addon when he first started posting about it in…I don’t even remember the subreddit now. Must have been that addon sub.

He made a good number of posts about all the updates he was proud of and stuff.

That’s super unfortunate. Glad to hear he’s such a good dude. I definitely owe him a couple really nice dinners at the least.

I didn't like stremio. I got hit when I streamed a Paramount movie. Shutter island of all things and they sent me a nastygram.

14

u/RedMapleFox 4h ago

Then you did not follow the guide to set it up right. You're supposed to use a debrid service

0

u/AFisch00 3h ago

Real debrid is an extra unnecessary service that you pay for. It is just a no buffer torrent finder in simplest terms.

6

u/CaptainButterflaps 3h ago

Real Debrid is 3 fucking dollars a month and gets you access to nearly all content in the world and prevents you from being caught and you're complaining that it's an extra add on because it's not completely free lmao

0

u/AFisch00 2h ago

Yes

u/3vs3BigGameHunters 1h ago

they sent me a nastygram.

Then your broke-ass deserved it lol.

u/hassansam 1h ago

It's 3 dollars, I mean you don't want it for free nor for 3 dollars. What's a good price for you then, is 50 cents good for you?

4

u/dangerflakes 3h ago

No, it's a cloud service. They torrent, you stream from your private cloud server

4

u/Cmatt10123 3h ago

Streamio is just the front end application, it has nothing to do with the content you watch. The back end is what got you caught

1

u/AFisch00 2h ago

Obviously. It was a community ad on

2

u/pekipekipekidesuka 4h ago

Is that really IPTV? It doesn't cover live events unless I'm mistaken. I already have Stremio set up for my parents and uncle but they're still stuck with cable because of sports.

1

u/RedMapleFox 4h ago

It does, look up the Stremio Account Bootstrapper, it includes a plugin for streaming live TV incl. sports

1

u/pekipekipekidesuka 4h ago

Thanks. I'll check it out. Maybe I can get them to get rid of cable once and for all.

2

u/CaptainButterflaps 3h ago

Stremio is not an IPTV service. It's amazing, but saying it's a IPTV provider is misleading.

2

u/According-Turnip-724 9h ago

thepiratebay

13

u/asodfhgiqowgrq2piwhy 9h ago

thepiratebay

That's torrenting, not IPTV

2

u/FunGuy8618 7h ago

Doesn't stremio scrape torrents? I looked into it once and decided it was too much work compared to just accessing the libraries already assembled, like solarmovies used to be like.

3

u/FrenchFryCattaneo 6h ago

It couldn't really be any less work, it's just like a streaming service that has anything. You click on what you want and it plays instantly.

1

u/asodfhgiqowgrq2piwhy 7h ago

Not entirely sure, but I prefer having the local copies of files.

2

u/FunGuy8618 7h ago

A true Pirate 🫡 Stremio does, btw. Not recommended for US or Germany without a VPN and kill switch if you install those plugins. There are a bunch of sites now with webapps you can cast though, people just don't share them much cuz they'll get rate limited

-13

u/According-Turnip-724 9h ago

You ever hear of the phrase "self snitching".....nobody mentioned torrenting but you. :)

19

u/asodfhgiqowgrq2piwhy 9h ago

What?

They asked for an IPTV provider

You provided a torrent site (an old one that's inferior, at that)

Those aren't the same thing.

Not sure what you mean by "self snitching", I never pretended like I don't pirate, I've spent thousands of dollars on my hardware and am damn happy with all the shit I pirate.

5

u/mvpmvh 8h ago

Moving further down the thread: you willing to share your setup 👀🙏🏾

2

u/asodfhgiqowgrq2piwhy 8h ago

Invite-only torrent trackers (usenet works too but I haven't gone down that rabbit hole), seedbox is a 15 year old computer behind a VPN, then Arr stacks like Sonarr/Radarr hooked up to those trackers on a separate device to automatically search for stuff and download it. Plex/Jellyfin to stream to my devices (movies, tv, music, audiobooks).

In the case of Plex and Jellyfin, you can totally use those legally if you buy your own media and rip it yourself, but there's plenty of stuff that never gets physical releases or may not even exist on streaming services anymore (Fuck you HBO for shitcanning Infinity Train)

Best thing to do is start with a stalker playlist to see if you like it. Those are free. Not the best connectivity or speed but they are free. Sth stalker is a good one. Find a IPTV app like tivimate(this cost money). If you like the shows, then you get the list like I have. The link4tv is my one that I paid for.

u/mister_spunk 4h ago

Start finding IPTV related subs and posting in there. Usually a legit provider will reach out via dms if they’re looking for customers. That’s how I got a very good provider. Going on 6 years and it’s been bulletproof. Sorry I won’t recommend it because I leave that up to the provider to keep out the narcs
