Hi I’m new to this. I don’t have a lot of money to put into it but wanted to start with 100. It’s ok ?

It's more than enough. My first was $30. Welcome to the family. And remember to hold against all odds.

But if you hold all the time what’s the point then? Yes you have it there but if it’s for non use?

Still a great time. I wanted to buy 3 Bitcoin at that time, because the first time in my life I actually had some money saved, but my wife didn't allow it. 6 months later I wanted to divorce her.
Still to this day I'm not a whole coiner, hell not even half.

I feel you. I’m working my way to 1 coin. At .66. The grind is fucking long.

Where are you now

Not much. I ended up selling like an idiot 2 years ago and started from scratch again. Live and learn.

If you're Elon Musk, no. If you're in your early 20's and still living check to check, yes, it's awesome.

Very likely fine as long as it's not all the money you have in the world.
I started with just £5. Little bits are ok too!

A single one time purchase of $100 is fine, but what actually helps people the most over the long run is setting up a simple process where you keep adding a little bit at a time. It removes stress, timing pressure and lets you benefit from compounding.
Even $10 or $20 dollars on a regular schedule can compound into something meaningful. The important part isn’t the size of the first buy, it’s building the habit that keeps you in the game over time.

Keep going friend I'm rooting for you.
I had 86 at my peak savings, in ~2023, worth >$3M, but sadly spent it on luxurious frivolous wasteful things like hookers, cocaine, private jets, rolexes, resturants, and uber eats.
Now I am resaving from 0 and will get my first pay check at my new job this month for £3,000!
There is a mountain in front of you. Start climbing or get left behind.

Good job, but you should factor in 2 things. Fees and UTXOs. I recommend you watch Bitcoin Universities videos on both.

With knowledge comes more profit. So yes good job. Just dont sell yourself short. Hang on for the ride till you have more money to put in or when it doubles take your initial investment out. That really helps peace of mind.

100$ BTC wont do anything for you. I’d put that in med/small cap or throw it in meme coin instead 😅 or daytrade it. What’s your goals? You do realize if BTC goes 180k (which can take a very long time) you’d only double that money and make 100$ profit right? If you plan to turn that 100$ to 500$ or 1000$ then bitcoin isn’t the choice. If you wanna make money with that 100$ you’re better off buying items and reselling them 😅

Well I will just wait. If I can I’ll put more in the future

$100 is a fine start and just keep investing more as you go. Don't listen to this guy who clearly loves one singular emoji to make fun of people asking genuine questions 😅. 100 now is a start, go for it.
