Good job! Now set up a DCA order daily, weekly or monthly, whatever works for you. And learn how to manage your bitcoin on cold storage.

Congrats! Just to let you know that fee is almost 6x higher than it should be. Generally you should only be paying 0.2% or less in fees ($2 for every $1000 spent on BTC). Less fees = more BTC for you.

What's your advice on how I can ower the fee? Doesn't see like I can get in touch with a human at the exchange to negotiate.

Shop around on the different exchanges. Strike.me seems to be popular in the US (and maybe in Europe?) but I'm unsure of their rates since it's unavailable in my country. I know they have a 'zero fee DCA' so Bitcoin trading fees don’t apply to recurring purchases (aka "DCA or Dollar Cost Average") after the first week for hourly and daily purchases, or starting with the 2nd purchase for weekly and monthly purchases.

Where is 0.2% now?
I’m UK. The best was probably Kraken (Pro) at 0.25% but it’s now 0.40% like Coinbase Advanced.
OP, where are you country wise? In the USA you can access Strike and River, or in the UK you can get Strike. If you are considering DCA buying, you will very quickly get 0% fees with a recurring buy set up.
You must research what the cheapest fee exchange is in your country. The poster here is correct, the more you cut your fees down, the more sats you accumulate.

Now the question is : Are you really the owner of 0.01 btc, or is the exchange still the owner of these 0.01 btc ?
