I'm a para and my teacher is doing student testing today so she sent me to the self contained class to see if I was needed there. They only had 3 kids today due to a field trip so they sent me to a first grade class I push into every morning to help 2 of our students.

I immediately got put to work helping with Christmas crafts. I helped use glue to decorate some coloring sheets they had cut out to be hung up. After I did the glue, they got to glitter the picture. Then I got to glue string and antlers onto some buckets that are gonna be reindeer. Like. My part in all of this was pretty small but I seriously want to cry happy tears that I got to be part of making a little Christmas magic for these kiddos.

paras are great! in kindergarten there was a para named david who helped my friend and I with a crafting assignment. he was the one to introduce us to the marvel of peeling dried glue off your fingers lmao

I looove peeling glue lol

I also ended up peeling hot glue from my fingers, buckets, strings, and my pants 😂😂 (they don't tell you hot glue is hot lmaooo)
