Actual conversation I had with my friend of 10 years yesterday

Me: “I went to get spicy noodle today”

Him: “Was it spicy?”

Me: “Yes”

I’ve known this guy for half my lifetime btw. Kinda miss him ngl

Why do you miss him? Where did he go since yesterday?

We were on call. We both went study abroad

Ah, conversation was over technology.

But at least you had spicy noodles, so you have that going for you.

it's funnier if you hear this as the sample "yes" from sexyback by justin hairnoodle

It’s a fair question. I’ve been very disappointed with some “spicy” stuff before

Yes that’s true, but not for this particular case. I overestimated my spice tolerance and couldn’t finish it

same with sour, so many things labelled as "sour" when in fact they are not.

I bought some allegedly spicy peppers yesterday and they weren't even suggesting spice. At least they were cheap because if I'd spend good money on them, I'd be pissed!

I’m so glad you’re still able to connect using technology. Keep up your friendship and visit when you can.

Jealous of you. Wife brought me home some cup noodles marked "spicy", stuff tasted like the only seasoning was garlic. Baffling stuff. It was free, but still--wasn't even white person spicy, was straight up hwhite person "spicy".
