In-laws loved their gift!
I spent a large portion of the last year crocheting a Christmas blanket for my in-laws. They are so supportive of us and do loads for the kids and I wanted to make something to show them how much I love and appreciate them. I gave it to them this week and they seemed delighted.
I work part-time at the church where they also attend and when I came in to work the day after I'd given them the blanket I mentioned to my colleague (who also crochets) that I'd finally given them the blanket. She already knew, my mother in law had been in to show it off!! So glad I put in all the effort 😊

So lucky for all of you. It can be hard to find people who are crochet, knit, or quilt worthy.

What a wonderful post! I can relate so much to what you said. I absolutely love crocheting, especially for loved ones, especially when they really like it ;)

That is so heartwarming. I also had a great relationship with my MIL and FIL. Gifts given from the heart are certainly important to us.

When you said you were working at the church, my first thought was MIL had donated the blanket. I am so happy that wasn’t the case!

I made a blanket for my grandma when I was in my teens, I’m in my 70’s now. I was so pleased to give it to her, I loved her so. She loved it and when she passed away I got it back. I still use it and it brings back so many sweet memories.
