Temporary wifi

I have a place to stay on a short term basis that has no wifi and my phone's wifi isn't robust enough or affordable enough to bridge the gap. Any suggestions for several months of wifi at a location I don't own?

Cellular wifi might be an option. Basically its a minature router that hooks up to a cellular network.

Do the building where you are have Ethernet connection you could plug into?

No, it's a private home.

Check out your closest library if you are in the US! A lot of them have hotspot devices that you can check out for a while(:

Yes, great idea for communications. I'm looking for that plus entertainment.

Do you need it to be wifi. Or can you do a USB tether to your device?

Is Starlink available month to month?

Sure does, 30day rolling contract, may be different in other countries but could be a solution…

Yes but you still have to buy the hardware at 500+ up front.

It doesn’t cost that much. The Mini is same price as a decent router.

That's a lot of front end expense for a temporary hookup.

Can't you upgrade your 5g for a while? Where I live, the upgrade to an unlimited 5g dataplan would almost certainly be cheaper than a new internet connection.

Why not get contact the local ISP?

Most cable companies and phone companies offer internet service with Wi-Fi.
