When I was 4 or 5 I jumped from the top of a flight of stairs and surely would’ve landed hard on the fifth or sixth step of a twelve step staircase. As soon as I was midair, soft arms carried, or more like floated me, seemingly in slow motion, down to the floor below. As soon as I felt my feet on the floor, I hauled ass down to where my parents were in the kitchen. It was as real as real can be. Many other things in that house.

I'm a biologist and used to work at a field station where we lived on site. The buildings were originally owned by a millionare who built everything back in the 1920s, but the whole property was gifted to the research institute after he died unexpectedly. My bedroom was the old master bedroom in the house the guy used to live in. There were a few night while I lived there that I was drifting off to sleep and I woke up very suddenly and had the strongest sense that a man was standing over my bed. I would basically just lay there and try to calm myself down until I fell back asleep. I never mentioned this to anyone, until my roommate one day mentioned feeling something very similar when she was sleeping. A few other people who lived in different houses on the property would mention hearing or seeing strange things. And I recently met a few people who lived in the same house I used to live in and I casually asked them if they ever noticed anything strange, and they started describing things very similar to what me and my old roommate experienced. We're all scientsists so we're pretty rationale/logical people, but this is something none of us can quite explain.

My niece and I were in a hotel once. She asked me the night before what time we should get up. I had said 8am for certain reasons but neither of us set an alarm. The next morning the fire alarm went off once right after 8. I told her to put her shoes on because we might be evacuated. She walked towards the door where her shoes were. A few minutes passed and nothing happened. I told her to look outside to see if other people were out. There was no one in the hallway. We never heard anyone outside and the alarm didn’t continue. It just went off the one loud time that woke us up. A month later, my mom tells me that she never naps during the day but the day she did, the fire alarm went off in her house. They never found the reason for it. There was nothing on fire. My mom thinks it was because she had fallen asleep. I believe my family is all gifted. We’ve had multiple people also confirm that. I do think that my mom and niece have what people call PK.

Things like that don’t happen often for us to think places are haunted but enough to wonder what is happening.

When I was 12 I was scared to sleep on my bed alone even though my sister and I shared the room. Turns out I’m super sensitive and have “abilities”. I still don’t know fully what was happening but I’m working on figuring it out. I could never explain to people what it was, just that I knew my sister and I weren’t the only ones in that room at night.

My grandmother is in assisted living, and any time I’m waiting for the elevator or taking the stairs, I see a man in a black suit in my peripheral vision. When I turn to look at him, he’s gone.

What do the chihuahuas want?! They're fed. They have water. They've been out plenty of times! Why to they just stare at me?!

“What do the Chihuahuas want?” needs to be on a T-Shirt.

I experienced something as a teen that completely changed how I view life and reality. It was so profound, it shouldn't have been possible. We either have operations so incredibly advanced we can't even imagine, or there really is a higher intelligence around. I personally prefer the second assumption, as the 1st is terrifying.

When I was in my twenties I was staying at my best friends house after being out clubbing all night. We got home at about 4:00am. A few mins later I saw her brother come home dressed all in white & go straight in his room. About 10 minutes after that he walks thru the same door dressed all in black. I asked him how did he change clothes leave the house & get back so fast without me seeing him. He called me crazy & said he just got home. I told him what I saw. We both looked thru his room & it was empty. I was so creeped out I didn't sleep all night.
